With more than 15 years of experience in communications, public relations, employee engagement, project management and customer service, Sheri surpasses expectations with her quality work. Steadfastly focused on results and deadlines, she delivers on commitments. She tackles assignments with energy and passion, and thrives at fostering cross-functional partnerships with coworkers, vendors and clients. Sheri is an efficient, positive and tactful professional who brings FUN into the workplace!
Sheri has improved communications and handled public relations responsibilities at companies in a variety of industries (including broadcasting, oil, tennis, bridal and an NFL franchise). She writes in a clear, concise and friendly style (for print and web) and is accomplished in design and production processes. She led the design, development and implementation of a broadcasting company’s intranet site in 2009, and has been an innovative and efficient project manager and event planner for decades.
In 2011, Sheri was honored to be a finalist for a National Stevie Award from the American Business Awards in New York, and received a 2011 International Stevie Awards Distinguished Honoree medal from the International Business Awards for her work leading Fisher’s Centennial Celebration project. Initiatives for the project included creating a museum exhibit at the Museum of History and Industry, a one-hour television documentary, an online interactive timeline, a commemorative 3D shadowbox depicting 100 years of history, collecting “salutes” from ABC network talent, hosting a community dinner party and companywide celebrations, publishing a coffee-table quality book and more!
Sheri has also created and implemented wellness programs throughout her career. At Fisher her wellness programs won the American Heart Association’s “Fit-Friendly” and “Worksite Innovation” awards.
An active volunteer, Sheri has enjoyed utilizing her communications, event planning and leadership skills to contribute to the success of many community projects. She is a native of Seattle and strongly believes in giving back to her community.
Sheri graduated from Shoreline High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Washington. She has strong computer and web literacy – proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, WordPress and online collaboration tools.
Sheri has two grown children, Kurt and Kristi.
